Fused Glass Jewelry I: Pendants and Earrings (All Levels-no experience required)
Make 6 pendants, 1 pair of earrings and learn the basics of fusing with dichroic glass in this one session, 2 hour class. You’ll play with all sorts of fusing components and learn how to incorporate them into your jewelry. Learn our secrets and have fun! A fast paced, non-technical class, no glass experience required. All glass, materials, use of tools and instruction included. One 2 hour session. Projects are fired during the week after class and ready for pickup within a week. GLASS FUSING FOR BEGINNERS
Glass Fusing 101 (All levels - no experience required)
Make four projects including a functional fused glass tile/plate/dish, nightlight cover and play with fused glass/dichroic jewelry as well. This is a beginning technical class that explains how glass fusing works, what you need to know to be a successful fuser and how to have tons of fun playing with warm glass. Learn the difference between slumping and draping, what COE is, and the fundamentals of what glass will do at various temperatures. You will also get to play with fusible glass, frit, stringers, confetti, noodles and more!
This is a three session, 6 hour class (2 hours each week), includes use of all tools and materials needed. Class size limited to 6 students. $169.00
