Mary Datwyler is the owner and primary designer of Sunflower Glassworks. With over 15 years of stained glass experience and 20 years of award-winning graphic design, Mary is author of the book, "Petite Prairie Patterns" and other patterns and articles for stained glass. She has been featured in the Albuquerque Journal, Rio Rancho Observer, Business Outlook and has had her work featured internationally on HGTV. Mary is currently a Continuing Education Instructor for the University of New Mexico in Glass Fusing. Mary is largely inspired by the light, landscape, colors and culture of New Mexico (and the antics of her dachsunds, Aeden and Patrick). She has lived in New Mexico over a decade. Mary's glasswork appears in numerous private homes, businesses and places of worship throughout the New Mexico, the US and overseas. She also creates the Girasol line of glass jewelry.
